Sign in (Email OTP)

I'm In uses email one-time codes (OTP).

  • Enter your email and tap Send code.
  • Open the newest email and enter the 6-digit code.
  • If the code expires, request a new code and use the latest email.

Not receiving the OTP?

  • Check spam/junk and search your inbox for "Supabase" or "I'm In".
  • Wait a minute and request a new code.
  • If your email provider is blocking delivery, try another email address.

Still stuck? Email support@tryimin.app.

Delete your account

You can delete your account from inside the app:

  • Open Profile.
  • Tap Delete account.
  • Confirm deletion.

Report or block someone

Chat includes safety tools:

  • In a chat, tap the ... menu.
  • Choose Report to submit a report.
  • Choose Block to stop seeing a user.

Contacts permission

If you choose to find friends from contacts, Imin hashes phone numbers and emails on your device and uploads the hashes to our server to match you with existing users.

We do not upload contact names or the raw phone numbers/emails.

You can manage this in iOS Settings at any time.

App status and circles

  • Toggle In/Out from Connect.
  • Choose who can see your status: Everyone or a specific circle.
  • Use chat to coordinate the meetup.
